This waiting list is for Public Housing rental housing assistance in Los Angeles County, California

The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) is accepting Senior Public Housing waiting list applications for Carmelitos Senior, South Bay Gardens Senior, East County Senior Sites, West Knoll/Palm Senior, Marina Manor Senior, Orchard Arms Senior and Foothill Villa Senior Apartments from April 15, 2024 at 8:00 am, until April 30, 2024 at 11:59 pm PT

Please note: "For Senior-Only Designated Housing Developments:

• Must be 62 years of age and older

• Annual income must be within the current limits set by HUD

• Meet the income limits based on the current median household income in Los Angeles County."

This waiting list is for the following properties:

• Carmelitos Senior - located at 801 Via Carmelitos, Long Beach, CA 90805
• South Bay Gardens Senior - located at 230 East 130th St., Los Angeles, CA 90061
• East County Senior Sites - located at Multiple locations in the East Los Angeles area, City of La Puente, and City of Whittier
• West Knoll/Palm Senior - located at 838 North West Knoll Dr., West Hollywood, CA 90069 and 959 North Palm Avenue, West Hollywood, CA 90069
• Marina Manor Senior - located at 3401 Via Dolce, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292
• Orchard Arms Senior - located at 23410-23540 Wiley Canyon Rd., Valencia, CA 91355
• Foothill Villa Senior Apartments - located at 2423 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta, CA 91214

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Victims of declared disasters
• Displaced due to government action
• Referrals from law enforcement agencies
• Homeless
• Elderly households who live and/or work in Los Angeles County, California
• Elderly family is a family whose head (including co-head), spouse, or sole member is a person who is at least 62 years of age.(It may include two or more persons who are at least 62 years of age living together, or one or more persons who are at least 62 years of age living with one or more live-in aides.)
• Veterans

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences
