The Housing Authority of Springfield (HAS) will accept Elderly or Disabled Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 17, 2024 at 8:00 am CT, until 250 applications have been accepted

Please note: According to the HAS "Waiting list is for the HCV/Section 8 program for: Elderly (62 or older), Handicap and Disabled (Must be the head of household if applying as elderly or disabled on this day) If you apply on this date and are not elderly, disabled or handicap, your application will be denied."

To apply while the waitlist is open, complete the online application

Preferences have not yet been confirmed

250 selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences
