Glynn County, Georgia Section 8 HCV

The Brunswick Housing Authority (BHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for one day only on July 7, 2023 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm ET

Please note: According to the BHA, applications will be accepted from 9:00 am until 11:00 am in person and from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm online only

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. In person applications will be accepted at the BHA main office, located at 1126 Albany St. Brunswick, GA 31520 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am

2. Complete the online application that is available only from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Family that has been terminated from its HCV program due to insufficient program funding

• Victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking who have either been referred by a partnering service agency or consortia or is seeking an emergency transfer under VAWA from the PHA’s public housing program or other covered housing program operated by the PHA. The applicant must certify that the abuser will not reside with the applicant unless the PHA gives prior written approval

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences
