Eligibility
The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Housing Authority (LHA) Self-Sufficiency Public Housing waiting list for apartments at Northwest Lexington and Northeast Lexington is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from August 9, 2021, until October 31, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen
- Northwest Lexington Properties have 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom units
- Northeast Lexington Properties have 1 and 3-Bedroom units
Please note: According to the LHA public notice, "the Self-Sufficiency program requires that the head-of-household or spouse/co-head-of-household must demonstrate he/she has been working for at least 37.5 hours per week for Self-Sufficiency I, or 20 hours per week for Self Sufficiency II", "Elderly and disabled persons who meet all of the Self-Sufficiency Housing requirements with the exception of the work requirement may also be eligible for these units."
