Whitfield Homes, Forrest Road Homes and EB Jordan Homes Apartments, 2-BedroomPublic Housing Waiting List

The Wilson Housing Authority (WHA) last accepted Public Housing waiting list applications for 2-Bedroom apartments at Whitfield Homes, Forrest Road Homes and EB Jordan Homes Apartments from January 16, 2024, until February 12, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen

This waiting list was for the following properties:

• Forrest Road Homes - located in Wilson County, North Carolina, 27893

• Whitfield Homes - located in Wilson County, North Carolina, 27893

• EB Jordan Homes - located in Wilson County, North Carolina, 27893

There were two ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Print the paper application

2. Pick up an application at one of the properties management offices

Once the paper application was completed, it was to be either:

1. Dropped off at one at one of the properties management offices

2. Mailed to any of the properties management offices

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Involuntary Displacement
• Veteran/Homeless
• Working Family
  • Defined as being self-employed, working an average of 20 hours or more a week for at least 11 months, or being seasonally employed for 2 years with the current employer and working 20 hours a week or more). Includes persons 62 years or older

• Homeless Families with Case Management Support

• Homeless Victims of Domestic Violence

It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences
