This waiting list is for Section 8 Project-Based Voucher rental housing assistance in Washoe County, Nevada

The Reno Housing Authority (RHA) is accepting Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for 1, 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom apartments from April 15, 2024 at 8:00 am, until May 3, 2024 at 5:00 pm PT

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Involuntary Displacement due to PHA action or program regulation
• Residency: Live, work or have graduated from or are currently enrolled in an education or training program that is located in Washoe County

• Elderly or Disabled
• Lease in Place: Applicants who currently live in Washoe County
• Homeless
• Graduate of Permanent Supportive Housing: Applicants who provide documentation showing successful completion of a Permanent Supportive Housing Program in Washoe County within the last 6 months will be given preference

• Veterans

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences
