The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from March 11, 2024 at 8:00 am, until March 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET

To apply while the waitlist is open, complete the online application

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Involuntary Displacement due to demolition, disposition, or transformation of public or
• assisted housing or other housing impacted by development or redevelopment activity
• funded in whole or in part by HACP

• Recipients and former recipients of Homeless Assistance Service referred by the
• Allegheny County Department of Human Services.
• Employment/Elderly & Disabled Preference

• Active Duty United States Service Member or Veteran

• Witness Protection for individuals and Families. - Otherwise eligible families engaged in a local, state or federal Witness Protection Program or other law-enforcement cooperation initiative

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences
