Northampton County, Pennsylvania Section 8 HCV

The Northampton County Housing Authority (NCHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from August 15, 2023 at 9:00 am, until August 18, 2023 at 9:00 am ET

To apply while the waitlist is open, complete the online application

The maximum income limits for each household size are as follows:

• 1 Person $33,600 | 5 Persons $51,800
• 2 Persons $38,400 | 6 Persons $55,650
• 3 Persons $43,200 | 7 Person $59,500
• 4 Persons $47,950 | 8 Persons $63,300

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Veterans and their surviving spouses will receive three preference points

• Applicants who live, work, or have been hired to work in Northampton County, Pennsylvania will receive two preference points

• Applicants who are unsubsidized will receive one preference point

• All other applicants will receive no preference points

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list
