The Spartanburg Housing Authority (SHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted by appointment only from May 17, 2021, until an unconfirmed close date. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen

Please note: According to the SHA, this waiting list is only open "for Working Families." The public notice states:

• "Applicants must submit proof of employment at the time of application. Sources of income will include verification of taxable wages, such as four (4) consecutive pay stubs or a letter from the employer

• Applicants must be employed at the time of admission to the program."

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to call SHA
