Eligibility
The Spartanburg Housing Authority (SHA) Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) waiting list for 500 Northside Station apartments is closed
The SHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from November 15, 2021, until November 15, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen
According to SHA, "Applicants must meet the South Carolina Mental Health Referral Admission Preference to apply."
- South Carolina Mental Health Referral Admission Preference -Spartanburg Housing will provide an admission preference for individuals referred by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and/or their Community Partner Agencies solely for units in Project Based Voucher Properties that have been funded by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. The SC Department of Mental Health and/or the corresponding Community Partner Agency must provide Spartanburg Housing with a written referral indicating the individual's status under the specified preference categories
There were two ways to apply during the opening period:
- Applicants must have referral from South Carolina Department of Mental Health
- Complete an application in person at Spartanburg Housing office
Preferences have not yet been confirmed
It was not known how selected applicants were placed on the waiting list
